Entering the dolceVita GALLERY you have crossed the threshold of a project and, in truth, a dream; a dream of a group of friends who decided to contribute to the celebration and appreciation of Italian art and creativity in the world.
The dolceVita GALLERY is an art and photo gallery – with a focus on the popular age of “Dolce Vita”, or “the Sweet Life” – that hosts exhibitions, events, workshops, cultural gatherings, classes, historical research and more.
The gallery is committed to the rediscovery and appreciation of Italian artistic and cultural production in the decade between the late ‘50s and early ‘60s, famously known as the period of La Dolce Vita, with a focus on the world of cinema and photography, as well as fashion and entertainment.
It is primarily based on the work of Marcello Geppetti, a photographer of Rome’s “Dolce Vita” who captured the moments and personalities that characterised this period of turmoil and wealth that catapulted the Italian capitol onto the world stage.
This dream wishes to come true ispired by the same beauty and passion that sparked the original works here on display. Let yourself be carried away!
