Gilberto Petrucci

Gilberto Petrucci, even called “Paparazzetto”, was born in Rome in 1939. He started as a photographer when he was young. He was one of the photographers protagonists of the Dolce Vita, among them who inspired Federico Fellini in the creation of the namesake film of 1960.

After having photographed thousands of Sixties and Seventies celebrities, in 1977 he left Rome to lend in New York City, where he opened “Il Bocconcino” restaurant, attended by actors, singers, sportsmen and politicians.
